FAN festively opened
The Forum Anja Niedringhaus was opened with a ceremony in the historic town hall of Höxter.
Guests from all over the world, from South Africa and Afghanistan, New York and San Francisco, demonstrated their high regard for the work and person of the Pulitzer Prize winner, who was murdered in Afghanistan in 2014. They were impressed by what has been created in Höxter in honour of Anja Niedringhaus.
President Daisy Veerasingham sent a video message from America. Further videos with greetings, musical contributions and the ceremonial speech by TV journalist Antonia Rados provide a review of the opening ceremony.
